2013 Fall Bible Institute Class: Hermeneutics

August 23, 2013
As people who claim to know and love Jesus Christ, it is imperative that we immerse ourselves in the word, which is his revelation of himself. One of the reasons people often shy away from getting into scripture is that they feel confused about how to interpret it rightly, and so we as a church desire to equip people to better understand the truth of scripture so they might become more like Jesus through the power of the Holy Spirit for the glory of God the Father

This fall Pastor Bryan Neal will be teaching a twelve-week class in our bible institute called "Hermeneutics", which will examine the science of interpreting scripture. Whether we realize it or not, we all have a "hermeneutic" ... a method we use to determine what scripture means. Our goal is to help those in our church understand how to discover the human author's intent for his original audience, so that we might know the divine Author's intent for us today.
