Mexico Missions Update

March 31, 2015

Serving our Lord in Sinaloa
- Praise be to God for His Marvelous Works –

Rejoicing over 15 years of gospel ministry in Mochicahui
6 years since the founding of
Iglesia Bíblica Palabra de Cristo
(Word of Christ Biblical Church)

Laying the foundation for Sunday School and Pastoral Training Center classrooms which will also serve the needs for our next Dental Missions Team outreach prayerfully being planned for early 2016.
Pray for the Lord's continued provision for completing this current project.

The fast pace of ministry over these last few months have filled our lives with blessing even in the face of some difficulties and challenges.

Proclaiming the Word in Mochicahui and other nearby places as well as the Pastor's Conference in Hermosillo, seeing the Lord at work through counseling and discipleship - especially as I assist our sister church in Los Mochis as they grow through recent challenges, clear professions of faith by Paulina, Gaby, & Carlos in Mochicahui, visiting Daniel & Mariana in California, and the blessing of fellowship with Countryside's pastoral team while attending the Shepherd's Conference, then receiving a team of young adults from Countryside to serve alongside us has all been a great encouragement.

Travis, who came down in early January to learn Spanish and serve, continues to be a great help.  He plans to return to the U.S. April 10.  Amy continues to be in good health as she and Arquimedes anticipate the arrival of our first granddaughter in July.
Over these past few months Danyel has been called away on several occasions to minister to her family, twice to spend time assisting her mother who is undergoing treatment for cancer and, most recently, after the news that her brother had been shot and killed.  We are very thankful for everyone's prayers and expressions of loving concern.  Danyel will be back home late next week.

As we look ahead to the coming months we appreciate your continued prayers for the Lord's work through His servants here among the Mayos and elsewhere.  In addition to our regular local church ministries, we look forward to hosting others here in our home, assisting in the development of current and potential church leaders throughout the region, continued construction of classroom space, and preparation for teaching a Bible Institute Church History course in the fall when we are prayerfully planning to spend a couple weeks serving alongside our fellow Countryside church planting pastor Roger Johansen and his family in Brazil. We ask specifically that you would pray for the Lord's wisdom to be granted concerning the in the use of our time and energies for His glory, for His sustaining grace concerning our health and strength as we are entering the hotter months, and for His continued provision for ministry.

Most of all we ask that you pray for our continued spiritual growth as we study God's Word and seek to be used as the Lord's vessels in proclaiming His Word to others.

We are very thankful for all of you who prayerfully and sacrificially serve with us anticipating the Lord to continue bringing forth fruit among the Mayos and others as we proclaim His glorious gospel.

Your fellow servants in Sinaloa,

Brian & Danyel
